On Sunday 7th October, we’re opening our studio doors for a day of sewing fun and we’d LOVE to see you there!
Tell me more…
Here’s a run down of what’s happening on the day…
FREE Sewing Mini-Workshops – All day
Bring the kids and our qualified teachers will show you the basics of how to get stitching. Kids can make a bookmark or scrunchie to take home and for the grown-ups we’ll be making fresh produce bags.
Sewing Market Stalls – All day
We LOVE supporting local business (especially when sewing related) so we’ve invited along some of our favourite Perth-based sewing businesses to join us. Simon & Sheona from Potter Textiles, Susan from My Fabricology, Jess from Sew Unique Fabrics and Alison from Lorelei Jayne will set up shop to show you their fabulous products.
Scissor Sharpening Service – from 10.30am
Ken from Professional Sharpening is joining us from 10.30am. Bring along your scissors, knives, and garden shears to have them sharpened at excellent prices (i.e. scissors $15)
Does it cost anything?
Absolutely not! Entry is free and there is free parking directly out the front of our studio.
Do I need to book in for the workshops?
Not at all. Workshops will run continuously throughout the day and there is no need to book in.
Prizes? Did someone say prizes?
YES! Our amazing stall holders and sponsors are contributing an INCREDIBLE prize pack filled with patterns, fabric, haberdashery and more! Just turn up on the day, say hi to our stall holders and you could be the lucky winner!
Is there anything for sale?
Yes, our stall holders will have a range of patterns, fabric and haberdashery for sale. You can also find out more about upcoming Sew for Life classes and workshops and book in on the day.
Yes I’m coming! Where do I go?
The Sew for Life Sewing Studio is located at Unit 3/16 Main Street, Osborne Park (on the border of Joondanna/Mount Hawthorn).
We’ll be there all day Sunday 7th October 2018 from 10am – 3pm. See you there!
