What Previous Students Have Said

Lisa

I have just finished the Sew from Scratch for beginners course and had Anne as our teacher. Anne is so very patient and has a great sense of humour. Classes were so much fun and all of us girls learnt HEAPS during the 6 weeks. I have already signed up for the Know Your Knits class. Everything is very organised, professionally run and yet relaxed at the same time. Would highly recommend Sew for Life to anyone thinking about doing classes. Thanks Nat and Anne (also we met Janine and she is very lovely and helpful too).

Don’t have a sewing machine?

While we highly recommend that you learn to sew on the machine that you plan to continue sewing on, we also have studio machines available for hire for $10 per lesson.

If you’re looking to buy a new machine, we highly recommend going to see the ladies at the Janome Sewing Centres in Balcatta, Joondalup or Nedlands.  They have the expert knowledge to guide you and if you mention you’re a Sew for Life student, they’ll make sure you get the best deal and throw in a freebie gift!

If you’d like any more specific information on exactly what you should be looking for in a machine, don’t hesitate to send a message through the Contact page.  We are more than happy to give you recommendations on the features you need for a great machine to get you started.
