Join us for fabulous weekend away right on beautiful Shoalwater Bay, Western Australia.

Allow yourself to relax, enjoy comfortable, modern accommodation, delicious food and make the most of the sewing workroom set up just for us!

When:

Thursday 8th August – Sunday 1th August, 2024

Check in from 3pm Thursday afternoon, room check out 10am Sunday with use of the sewing workroom until 12.30pm.

Where:

St John of God Retreat Centre, Shoalwater, Western Australia (approx 1 hour drive from Perth city).

What’s included:

3 nights single room accommodation – including ensuite bathroom and linen.

Continental breakfast, 2-course lunches and dinners, morning and afternoon tea, plus tea and coffee all day.

Private sewing workroom including individual work spaces (one trestle table per guest), cutting and ironing facilities, and kitchenette facilities.

All levels of sewing experience are welcome but as this event doesn’t include any tuition, a basic level of experience is recommended and you are expected to be able to sew independently.

What to bring:

You will need to bring everything you need for the projects you plan to complete over the weekend. This includes your sewing machine, and overlocker if you wish.

If you forget any supplies, Spotlight in Rockingham is only a short drive away.

Personal effects: Linen and towels are provided so you just need to bring your clothes and toiletries for the weekend. The beautiful Shoalwater Bay is just across the road from the centre so bring your bathers and beach towel if you’d like a swim.

How much:

Three Night Retreat: Thursday 8th August – Sunday 11th August, 2024: $590.00 per person.

Booking Terms & Conditions:

1) Full registration fees are required to be paid on booking to secure your place.

2) CANCELLATION POLICY: If you cancel within the 90 days prior to the retreat (after 9th May 2024) or are unable to attend the retreat for any reason, there will be no refunds or transfers issued.

If you cancel before the 9th May 2024, there will be a cancellation fee is $100 imposed. Just to be clear, you will be refunded $490.00 ONLY, prior to 9th May, 2024. IMPORTANT: There will be no exceptions to this so if you are unsure if you can make the retreat and are not happy to pay a $100 cancellation fee if you cancel, please reconsider your booking to avoid disappointment.

3) Should you choose to pay by direct deposit, note that your place is not secured until full payment is received. Your invoice is due 7 days from the date of invoice unless a payment plan has been arranged prior.

4) Should the retreat be cancelled by Sew for Life due to COVID-related lockdowns or any other reason, you will be entitled to a transfer to a later retreat, or a full refund.
